Thank You

Thanks to all those that said a little prayer for me on Wednesday night.  It went well.  A small group that was just perfect for my first attempts at public speaking.

Holy cow.  I hope it gets easier as I could actually feel my heart about to pound out of my chest right before I got up to speak.

My favorite medical oncologist, Dr. E, was the one to ask me to speak.  It was really nice to be able to tell everyone how great he is.  And it was very weird to see him in civilian clothes.  Because I am treated at the local Air Force base, I usually see him in uniform.  I got to here the story of how he decided to become a doctor and then an oncologist.  I’m convinced its because God knew I’d need someone just like him during this journey.  I’m really thankful he hated those business classes!

Have a wonderful weekend.  I’ll be back here on Monday with some thoughts on faith.  I’ve had some interesting conversations about it lately and would like to see what you guys think as well.  So give it some thought, okay?

  3. Hey Sara,
I only know you through your blog, but I was just wondering if you could join me in prayer over these three people:

    Ernie Stokes
    Laura Ware
    Brian McIntyre

I don’t know what the Lord plans on doing. Maybe He just wants me to be faithful and pray. I have had them on my heart for a while now. I don’t know if any of them know the Lord as their personal savior. I do know that Ernie attends church, but that doesn’t tell you what the heart condition could be between him and the Lord. I thought if I could get people to just jot their names on the fridge or on a note card, it would be a reminder to pray for them in the passing.

I have seen so many awesome things happen in your life through this blog and feel so blessed to be able to be a part of your walk and faith in the Lord. I feel excited to see what He has done next every time I go to click on your blog page. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us! Love and Prayers, Regina
