Today is my birthday.
Last year I couldn’t swallow and I was bald. I had to draw on my eyebrows and my eyelashes were gone.
This year I am going to my favorite restaurant with my beloved where I will eat their garlic frites without guilt and maybe even have dessert.
I will crunch up my curly hair after I shower and I will not mind one bit that there are a few white hairs among all the dark brown ones.
I will put on my makeup and I will not worry about the laugh lines at the corners of my eyes.
I am here.
That is everything.

I have enjoyed the blog even though much of the time it was sad but you always had a bright outlook about things. You have been such an encourager for all of us. Never, Never!!! give up and always lean on God. Wow what would happen if we did that all the time.
