Although it hardly seems possible, it has been almost four months since my last scan. So tomorrow I will once again be injected with radioactive sugar water, wrapped up in toasty blankets for an hour and then scanned from head to toe.
Once again, I will get up off the table, hug the technicians goodbye and head out the door.
Once again, I will try not to lose my mind between then and 9:30 the next morning when we will meet with Dr. Cutler to go over the results.
And once again, I will remind myself that I am in good hands. Both here below and from up above. All will be well.
