We are all connected

There’s this funny thing that happens when you start reading other people’s blogs.

You start feeling like you know them. Like you are their friend and if you only lived in the same state you’d start meeting for coffee every Friday morning and going on vacations together. You trade make up advice and raging PMS stories and you wonder if they ever rescheduled that lunch with that other gal whose blog you read.

Or maybe that’s just me.

Whatever the case, one of my imaginary friends is on an incredible trip this week. Melanie of BigMama is in the Dominican Republic working with Compassion International to help spread the word about all the wonderful work they do.
