I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and part-time family nurse practitioner. Depending on the day, I am successful at at least some of them. On bad days I wonder why I didn’t run when I had the chance. Thankfully those days are few.
I’m married to a smart and sexy bald guy who still gets that look in his eye when he sees me. I think I’ll keep him. He’s also the only one in the house who can fix the computers.
Katie is our oldest. She loves to read as much as her mommy does and she is as stubborn as her daddy. She’s a good mix.
Elena is our baby. Wonder if she’ll mind me calling her that when she’s 40? She is sunshine and light almost all the time. Except when she isn’t. Then you better just stand back cause she’s got a look that will take the hair right off your head.
On October 4, 2010 we got the shocking news that I, a never-once-put-a-cigarette-to-my-lips kind of girl, have Stage IV lung cancer. So now we are on a new path that would not have been our choosing, but has brought blessings by the boatload already. We are amazed at the way God has been preparing us and those around us for this journey. We invite you to come along side in prayer and watchfulness as we see what great things God has in store for us.
